From Bost Tune Up – Rockwell, NC

Dear ARGO,

In 2006 I bought an ARGO Avenger with tracks from Bost Tune Up in Rockwell, North Carolina.  I bought this machine to duck hunt in Eastern North Carolina.  I mainly hunt in thick swamps and creeks in this area.  These swamps are extremely treacherous with stumps and fallen trees everywhere.  It is almost impossible to hunt these places in waders, due to the undergrowth, stump holes and broken trees.  Purchasing the ARGO Avenger, hunting was great.  I was able to hunt places I had only dreamed of getting to.  I could not believe how the ARGO maneuvered in these areas.  The main drawback on the machine however, was horsepower.  Or at least I thought that was the case.  In reality, the problem was turning the ARGO, because it took so much horsepower to turn in tight spots.  The brake caliper system worked well but, as I said, it took much of the power to turn in tight areas.  Regardless, I was hooked and I loved my ARGO Avenger.  I could go places no one else could go, therefore I shot many more ducks than I had in the past.

In 2010, ARGO came out with the NEW ARGO 8x8 750 HDi.  I researched this new Argo and thought, how could you improve such a good machine as the Avenger?  I traded my Avenger in for the NEW ARGO 8x8 750 HDi and was I impressed.  I could not believe the difference in the drivability, turning, and power.  It drives more like a four wheeler than the straight turn and jerk Avenger.  The Avenger was good but this was great.  I drive in Hi range most of the time, except when I’m in the swamp, then I change to Lo range for tighter turns and more maneuverability with no loss of power.  The vast improvement is in the transmission.  The genius behind this revolutionary transmission mind boggling.  The engineers who designed this transmission cannot be congratulated enough.

Now when I go duck hunting there are three things I never forget, a gun, shotgun shells, and my ultimate hunting machine.  Thank you so much for the hunting experiences I now enjoy with my NEW ARGO 8x8 750 HDi.
